Leptocoris productus (Göllner-Scheiding 1980)

L. productus adult in Uganda, Africa.

Range: Central Africa
Host: Cardiospermum species (Balloon Vine)
Physical description: About 10 to 14 mm in length. Orange, yellow (rarely), or red dorsal side with black membrane. Ventral side is orange or red and may be fasciated with black. Appendages are brownish black.
Potential look-alikes: L. chevreuxi (shorter head) and L. griseiventris (ocelli closer together; pronotum more slanted)

Estimated L. productus distribution
Leptocoris productus has been found in Tanzania but the exact location of where it was collected is not known.
