Boisea rubrolineata in Cupertino, CA
We are kicking off the new year with this marvelous photo of Boisea rubrolineata, the Western Boxelder Bug. During January, large aggregations of these insects can be found searching for winter warmth. If you notice them around your windows or on your home they are likely drawn to the heat. They are only a minor nuisance and as the weather warms up they will disperse on their own.
If you are unsure if you have found Western Boxelder Bugs you can find out using this guide.
